Call Features

With Axio Voice, all of our plans come with an entire suite of enterprise-class calling features ensuring productivity and flexibility in the workplace. Allowing you to focus on your business needs while driving it forward

call waiting

With Call Waiting, you'll never miss an important call again. This feature allows you to handle multiple calls simultaneously, ensuring that you're always accessible to your callers. When you're already on a call and another call comes in, you'll receive a notification, enabling you to decide whether to accept the incoming call or continue with your current conversation.

Call Whisper

Call Whisper is a powerful feature that allows you to provide exceptional customer service and improve call handling efficiency. With Call Whisper, you receive a discreet audio announcement or message before answering an incoming call, providing you with valuable information about the call source or context. This feature helps you personalize your interactions, tailor your responses, and deliver a seamless customer experience.

Do Not Disturb

The Do Not Disturb (DND) feature empowers you to maintain focus and control over interruptions during critical periods. When activated, Do Not Disturb ensures that incoming calls, notifications, and alerts are silenced or redirected, allowing you to work uninterrupted or enjoy a peaceful environment.

Emergency Assistance (E911)

For 911 calls, we have what is known as “E-911”, or Enhanced 911. We pre-provision your information with the closest Public Safety Answering Point when you sign up for our service. Should you ever have to dial 911, all of your information will be on file with them.

Free Extension to Extension Dialing

Anyone in your company, whether they sit domestically, internationally, on-site, or on the road, can dial extension to extension without incurring toll charges or using up minutes on a plan.

Call Forwarding

Call Forwarding is a versatile feature that allows you to stay connected to your callers even when you're unable to answer calls directly. With Call Forwarding, you can redirect incoming calls to another phone number, ensuring that you never miss important calls, regardless of your location or availability.

Call Parking

Call Parking is a feature that allows you to temporarily park a call and then retrieve it from any phone within your system. It offers a convenient way to transfer calls to different locations or devices while ensuring seamless communication and efficient call handling.

Call Transfer

Call Transfer is a versatile feature that allows you to transfer an ongoing call to another person or department effortlessly. With Call Transfer, you can ensure smooth communication, connect callers to the right individuals, and facilitate efficient collaboration within your organization.

Caller ID Screening

Caller ID Screening is a powerful feature that allows you to identify and manage incoming calls with confidence. By displaying the caller's identity and relevant information before answering the call, Caller ID Screening helps you make informed decisions about whether to accept or decline the call.

Set Caller ID

The Set Caller ID feature provides the flexibility to customize the outgoing Caller ID information for each extension within your organization. It allows you to assign a unique Caller ID, such as a specific phone number or a personalized name, to individual extensions or departments as needed.

Successive or Simultaneous Ringing

Successive or Simultaneous Ringing is a powerful feature that ensures you never miss an important call. With this feature, incoming calls can be routed to multiple phone numbers or devices simultaneously or in a sequential order, increasing the chances of capturing every call and providing flexibility in how you manage incoming calls.

Three-Way Calling

Three-Way Calling is a convenient feature that allows you to collaborate and connect with multiple parties in a single phone call. With Three-Way Calling, you can bring together two separate callers into a three-way conversation, enabling seamless communication and enhancing collaboration.


Voicemail is a fundamental feature that allows callers to leave messages when you're unavailable. With Voicemail, you can ensure that important messages are captured and accessible at your convenience. Additionally, our Voicemail to Email feature enhances convenience by delivering voicemail messages directly to your email inbox.

Mobility Features

Axio Voice’s Cloud Communications Platform’s integrated mobile solutions empower your employees to work on the go. Softphone Capabilities

A “Softphone” is a phone that runs off your computer or an app on your mobile device, allowing you to make and receive calls. The Axio Voice Cloud Platform can turn your computer or mobile into a phone, giving you the same features as any other extension.


This feature allows you to direct calls to single or multiple phone numbers, i.e. cell phone or home phone, so you can answer your extension wherever you are. This feature can be set to ring all of your numbers simultaneously or in succession.

Remote Branch & Satellite Locations

Our Multi-Location solutions allow devices to register to the Cloud Communications Platform from any vicinity. Including company headquarters, satellite offices, and home offices, on the road, domestic, or abroad. Extension to extension dialing works nationally as well as internationally without incurring toll charges.

Voicemail to Email

Our Voicemail to Email feature takes convenience to the next level by delivering voicemail messages directly to your email inbox. This allows you to access your voicemail messages from anywhere, anytime, using your preferred email client or mobile device. You can listen to voicemails on the go, forward them to colleagues, or keep a digital record for future reference.

Softphone Compatible Devices

Our Softphone application is compatible with almost any device that has internet access and a microphone, including: Computers: Windows, Mac, Linux Mobile & Tablets: iOS, Android

Multi-level IVRs, Ring Groups, and a Virtual Receptionist are just some of the options that come built-in. Plus, with our Fully Managed promise, we will configure each and every aspect of the system for your business’s specific needs.

Custom Music On Hold

You can play recorded music to fill the silence while your caller is on hold. These can include a business, marketing, or sales message. Music on Hold can be customized per extension or companywide.

Dial by Name Directory

The Dial by Name Directory is a user-friendly feature that simplifies the process of finding and connecting with contacts within your organization. With this feature, callers can easily search for individuals by their name, allowing for quick and convenient connections without the need to remember or dial specific extensions.

Multi-Company Profiles

For those that operate multiple companies or a conglomerate under the same roof, our Cloud Communications system allows you to set up each company under the same phone. Our Phone Line Identifier logic allows you to see the specific phone number, along with the Company Name your customer is dialing. For example #ABC Financial will scroll across your phone’s display. You can also set up unique pathways to allow for multiple IVR’s letting you manage all of your businesses through just one phone system.

You can program a prerecorded greeting that provides an internal roadmap to your company’s employees and departments. This option is virtually limitless letting you create as many Auto or Sub Attendants as you need.

Presence Notification

Axio Voice supports multiple languages, including English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Polish, Ukrainian, and Swedish. New languages are constantly being added.

Call Blocking

Call Blocking is a powerful feature that empowers you to take control of unwanted calls and protect yourself from spam, telemarketing, and nuisance callers. With Call Blocking, you can effectively filter and block incoming calls from specific phone numbers, providing peace of mind and an uninterrupted communication experience.

Call Flows

This feature is in essence an “on/off” switch located directly on the phone, letting you toggle between Day/Night modes. The feature allows for manual overrides to what’s programmed for “on the fly” call-routing; i.e. if you step out to lunch.

Click 2 Dial

This plugin allows you to seamlessly dial any outbound number from your Outlook or any web driven business tool, such as a CRM system, to initiate a call.

Ring Groups

Ring Groups is a valuable feature that allows you to efficiently distribute incoming calls to multiple extensions within your organization. With Ring Groups, you can ensure that calls are promptly answered and evenly distributed among team members, improving customer service and optimizing call handling.

Time of Day Routing / Day & Night Modes

This feature allows you to program different “Time Patterns” and/or locations for call handling. This is done by directing calls to different extensions, Ring Groups, or IVRs, by the time of day, day of the week, week of the month, or holidays.

Unlimited Scalability

With Axio Voice’s Cloud Communications system, we don’t share your resources with others. Each of our customers is on their own designated cloud instance. We also don’t make you reserve blocks of extensions in advance so you can keep to the same numbering sequence as you build your business.

Virtual Receptionist Option

This feature is perfect for small companies who want to give a big appearance. You can create a scripted recording for the Virtual Receptionist/ Auto Attendant to play, and IVR capabilities are not required. A Virtual Receptionist can also provide companies who do have IVRs the flexibility to have your receptionist send the next incoming call to the Virtual Receptionist for processing, if they are currently on the phone or away from their desk.

Business Features

Secure Electronics Fax

Our Fax service is secure and reliable with complete virtual functionality, meaning faxes can be sent or received via your smartphone or tablet. Access to our Web Portal allows you further flexibility to send and receive faxes online when you’re on the go.

Fax to E-Mail

Fax to Email is a convenient feature that allows you to receive faxes directly in your email inbox. With Fax to Email, incoming faxes are converted into digital documents and delivered to your designated email address, eliminating the need for traditional fax machines and providing a more streamlined and efficient faxing experience.

Group Message Broadcast

Send an audio message to as many 10-digit phone numbers or 3-4 digit extension numbers as you like. This feature is perfect for weather alerts, promotional recordings, or office closings.

Intercom Dialing

This feature allows you to converse two-way via your desk phone’s speaker or route to an overhead speaker system for a company broadcast. If you set up your cell phone as an extension you can intercom to any desk phone on your system.

Appointment Alets

Schedule your phone to ring whenever you need a reminder or even a “Wake-Up Call” like a hotel.

Audio Conferencing

This allows for multiple parties to be bridged together onto a single call (which can be optionally secured with a PIN number). Our Interactive Conferencing Controls provide you the ability to see the list of callers in the Conference. You can transfer active calls to a Conference Center, see who is talking, kick, mute, unmute, deaf, or un-deaf any participant on the call as well as deny entry to those who are late dialing in—to not disrupt the meeting.

Video Conferencing

ideo conferencing enables users to communicate using their webcams or our conference room solutions. Video Conferencing is now powered by Microsoft Teams for easy integration into your organization.

Call Accounting

This feature was designed for Lawyers, Accountants, and Service Professionals who bill by time spent on the phones. Users can assign and track time spent on the phone with customers by account code or account name. Summary and detail reports can be exported as a PDF or CSV file.

Number Portability

“BYON” – Bring Your Own Number, DID, Toll-Free, Fax, or Vanity Numbers when you switch to Axio Voice.

Overhead Paging

This feature acts as a PA system for a single phone, a select group of phones, or an overhead speaker system for broadcast.

Admin Features

While all of our services are fully managed, you can still access all of the admin features if you prefer a more “hands-on” approach. With access to our dashboard, you can manage and monitor your entire phone system, viewing call detail history, see who is on the phone, and manage activity to determine hiring needs. You even have the capability to record calls or eavesdrop for quality assurance and training purposes.


Use this feature for quick access and information about each employee, such as Username, Extensions, Voicemail messages, as well as tools for modifications to their profiles; i.e. Call Forward, Follow Me and Do Not Disturb.

Dialing Restrictions

This feature allows you to block or restrict outbound calling destinations, i.e. international, Directory Assistance, 900 numbers, or any other area that would include a toll charge. Axio Voice also offers PIN Numbers that can be entered prior to dialing international destinations.


This feature gives you the ability to listen in on a call in progress, with the option to “barge in” on the call. Please review our Terms of Service prior to using.*

Call Detail Records (CDRs)

Our system comes with various reporting capabilities to allow you to track usage and history by each extension. CDRs can be exported into a spreadsheet.

Call Logs by Extension

Our reporting tools give you complete detail and history of activity by extension. This can help you determine the hiring needs and workflow of your employees. You can run reports by date range, time range, and/or users. All reports can be either printed or saved as a .CSV or Excel file.

Call Monitoring

You can view which extensions are available, who is currently on a call, and for how long, from the “Active Extensions” Dashboard.

Call Recording

Any phone call can be recorded, either prescheduled or midway through the conversation. These tools allow you to share recordings for Training and Quality purposes. Please review our Terms of Service prior to using.*
